The group I joined has enhanced my entire experience as a new mom, and they have ultimately become a base of support that I can hardly believe I ever did without. By using the site's 'Mommy Compatibility Profile' system, I was paired with a group that not only shares my outlook on motherhood and life, but also has similar interests beyond parenting. It wasn't long before these mommies became some of my closest girlfriends. What's more, playgroup has opened up new friendships and experiences to my daughter. It is so rewarding to watch her interact with the other babies and learn to socialize in a positive relaxed environment. I am so grateful to have met this amazing group of women, and am even more thrilled about watching our children grow up together!

One of my mantras throughout my pregnancy was "I will not be that girl". I was not going to be pushing around my stroller talking about babies, I was not going to make new "mommy friends", my life was going to remain the same, with a wonderful addition. To make a long story short it turns out that the best day of my week is my baby playgroup, where, thanks to my match, I am connected with other mommies who are also "not that girl". We laugh, talk about real things, inspire each other, and most importantly support one another. I cannot emphasize enough how this group has changed my feelings about mommyhood, I love it! And the days that I don't feel so excited, I can call one of my girls and feel validated and perfectly normal. This anecdote does not do justice to the unbelievable gratitude I feel for being so perfectly matched. I know that sounds crazy but I am certain that I will remain friends with my group for a long, long time to come.
